New ParentSquare accounts usually default to Digest — one roundup email each evening — rather than Instant. Digest is fine for most posts: the day's messages still arrive with their full text. You mainly want to confirm email notifications aren't switched off entirely.

If you have the ClassDojo app installed on your phone, you're getting push notifications and no email is being sent, which means nothing reaches SchoolBrief.
