Some school pages require you to be logged in — Alexa can't see those. This bookmarklet lets you clip any page you can see in your browser and send it straight to your digest.
Updated August 15, 2026: Clipping stopped working for a while and is fixed. You don't need to reinstall anything — if the button is already in your bookmarks, it works again.
The most useful thing to clip is a newsletter that arrives as just a link. Some schools now post a sentence and a link instead of the newsletter itself, so the email reaches SchoolBrief with nothing in it. Open the newsletter, tap the button, and every date in it lands on your child's card.

Safari runs these fine — it just can’t install one by dragging.
Set it up once below; after that it’s two taps per newsletter.
- Bookmark this page. Tap Share ↑ → Add Bookmark → Save.
- Open it for editing. Tap the bookmarks icon 📖 → Edit → tap the SchoolBrief bookmark.
- Paste over the address. Clear the bottom line, paste, tap Done.
Then to clip a newsletter: open it, tap the address bar,
and tap SchoolBrief.

Visit any school page
Go to your teacher's announcements page, school calendar, or any school site you're logged into.

Click "Send to SchoolBrief"
The bookmarklet grabs the visible page content and sends it to your digest. You'll see a small confirmation.

It shows up in your next digest
Content is processed at the next 6 AM or 6 PM run, or within a few minutes if you trigger manually.
